We are conducting a search for our client , which is a globally recognized, manufacturer of machinery automation for the paper, label, and converting industries. They are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly driven Sales Manager for their Labels Division. This role is responsible for establishing, managing, and scaling their market footprint across the USA, transforming technical engineering excellence into strategic commercial success.
Compensation model for this role is a Base salary $90k -$100K+ with commissions first year expected to be $120K-$140K range. The brief job description is below:
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Growth Strategy: Architect and execute an aggressive sales plan tailored to capture market share within the US label converting and printing industries with a target between $15 and $20 million per year.
- Sales Team: Manage the Label sales team in the US
- Business Development: Actively prospect, negotiate, and close high-value capital equipment contracts with key corporate and general label manufacturers.
- Technical Solution Consulting: Conduct thorough workflow assessments for prospects to solve production bottlenecks by integrating specialized label machinery and automation
- Cross-Continental Coordination: Serve as the link between US client specifications and the R&D/engineering teams in the manufacturing facilities
- Brand Advocacy: Position company as the premium industry leader through active participation in regional trade shows, forums, and corporate exhibitions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Niche Industrial Expertise: Proven business-to-business (B2B) sales experience specifically within the label manufacturing or label printing industry.
- Capital Equipment Competency: Understanding or direct background selling converting systems, manufacturing automation equipment, or Labeling converting materials
- Autonomous Execution: Demonstrated capacity to work fully independently within a remote, territory-based structure while managing complex, long-cycle capital sales.
- Mobility: Readiness for extensive domestic travel across the USA to client locations, with occasional travel to Europe for product alignment and technical training.
